I love affirmations. I believe they can be a powerful tool in helping us change the way we speak to ourselves. Many of us with struggle with negative self-talk. It can show-up as self-deprecating jokes or calling ourselves names. This can become such a common part of our dialogue that we may not even be aware that we are doing it.
This negative language feeds our insecurities and can actually result in strengthening them.
One way to combat that is the incorporate positive self-talk and affirmations into our dialogue. These positive words can be a great way to be self-supportive and as a result, increase your ability to be more encouraging and supportive of others.
As this will be my last post until the new year I wanted to leave you with some words of encouragement. These words speak to my heart and I hope they do to yours as well.
